Barn Cleaner, Flushing System

A system used for moving manure from alleyways with water. Storage tank(s) are connected underground to flush valves with 12 inch PVC pipe. The storage tank(s) are generally 8 to 15 feet in diameter and 20 to 30 feet high receiving their water from a manure lagoon. When the flush valve is activated, it releases water for a specific length of time and then closes. The large volume of water moves rapidly down the alley carrying manure with it. At the end of the alley is a collection ditch that empties into a reception pit.
