This conveyor is usually constructed of steel with a floor and bottom using a single chain with slats every 9 to 12 inches apart. On occasion, this conveyor may be a double chain with a chain on each side and the slats connecting the two chains together. This type of conveyor may or may not have steel covers. It will have one drive unit on the discharge end of the conveyor. Typical widths will be 6 to 12 inches with 7 to 9 inches standard.
