Stanchion Barn Auto Take-Offs

Unit that removes the milking claw from the cow’s teats when milk flow drops to a pre-determined level for a specified period of time. The take-off is connected with the milk meter to perform its function. Automatic take-offs are common in milking parlors, but can also be found in stanchion barns. In the case of stanchion barn automatic take-offs, the take-off and the meter are in one unit that is transported from cow to cow, as opposed to being stationary in a parlor installation.
