Stanchions/stalls are equipment that will either constrain or confine an animal to a given area. Stanchions will constrain an animal within a stall and prevent it from leaving until it is released. A stall is a designated confinement area that one animal can occupy. Depending on the type of stall, the animal can be constrained in the stall with a stanchion or have free access to the stall without constraint.
