Create Reusable Custom Additions

You can add custom additions and save them so that you can reuse them at a future date.

Additions include equipment, external structures, site improvements, and so on. You can add additions to locations and buildings.

This section describes the procedure to create reusable custom additions on the Administration window. You can also create reusable custom additions from the following areas:

  • On the Create New Valuation window when you create a new valuation
  • On the Location Summary window or the Building Insight Summary page when you edit valuations

To add a reusable custom addition:

  1. On the Valuation dashboard, click Tools and then click Administration.
  2. On the Custom Additions tab, click Add Custom Addition.
  3. Enter a name, value, and description of the addition.
  4. Select one of the following categories to add the addition to:
  5. Custom Agricultural
  6. Custom Commercial
  7. If you update the custom addition cost and you want to use the new cost when you recalculate valuations, select Update valuation with changes before recalculation.

  8. Click Save.
