Edit Reusable Custom Additions

You can edit reusable custom additions. One reason to edit a custom addition is to update the cost before you recalculate valuations that include it.

You can use the sort and filter features to find a custom addition. If necessary, you can filter by two columns. For example, you can filter by the Category and Created Date columns. You can also search for an addition.

To edit custom additions:

  1. On the Valuation dashboard, click Tools and then click Administration.
  2. On the Custom Additions tab, find the custom addition that you want to edit.

Search for a custom addition
  • Enter search criteria and click Search Custom Additions.
  • Filter the custom additions
    1. Click the Filter icon in the column that you want to filter.
    2. Enter the filter criteria. The available comparison operators (for example, Is equal to, Starts with, and so on) vary depending on the column.
    3. Click Filter.
    4. Repeat these steps if you want to add a second filter.
    5. To clear the filters when you are finished, click the Filter icon again and then click Clear Filter.
    Sort the custom additions
    1. Click the column that you want to sort in ascending order (smallest to largest).
    2. Click the column again to sort in descending order (largest to smallest).
    1. Make the changes.
    2. If you update the custom addition cost and you want to use the new cost when you recalculate valuations, select Update valuation with changes before recalculation.
    3. Click Save.
