8101 - Manufacturing, Pole Frame

This building is designed for manufacturing and assembly processes and is most similar to Occupancy 8100 - Manufacturing, Light. Compared to occupancy 8100, this building generally has lower quality finishes and uses the pole frame structural system. This occupancy is unique in that its building methodology does not fall into one of the construction types offered within the program. For this reason, a few of the more common occupancies that would utilize this type of construction methodology was created.  

Note: Only the construction types of Frame (ISO 1), Masonry (ISO 2) and Pre-Engineered Metal (ISO 3) are valid for this occupancy. Reconstruction estimates when selecting Steel Frame (ISO 4), Protected Steel Frame (ISO 5) and Reinforced Concrete Frame (ISO 6) are not valid and should not be used.
