The university classroom occupancy can be used as a separate classroom building, or as a section or wing of a much larger university. The primary function of this occupancy is to provide lecture space for a large number of students. This building can house one or more academic departments and is subdivided into classrooms (30 students or less), lecture halls, work areas, conference rooms, and specialized areas that are associated with each academic department within the building.
