6408 - Lecture Hall (University)
The university lecture hall occupancy can be used as a separate lecture hall building, or as a section or wing of a much larger university. The primary function of this occupancy is to provide a lecture space for a large number of students. Often found on larger campuses, this building can be utilized by any number of scholastic departments. Although similar to Occupancy 6404 - University Classroom, the finishes may be considered "upscale", and the rooms are larger with higher ceilings to accommodate terraced seating. Typically, rooms seat in excess of 100 students and often will seat 400 or more.
