1500 - Hotel, Full Service
There are several occupancies offered for both Motel and Hotel. Although there are always exceptions, Commercial Express distinguishes between the two in that generally hotels are found in a city and are more than 5 stories in height and motels are found along the highway or small towns and are less than 5 stories in height. This occupancy differs from Occupancy 1550 - Hotel, Limited Service in the size and number of common areas. The full service hotel generally has a large reception area, meeting rooms, and a large banquet or ball room. It also includes a restaurant and bar as part of the hotel and may even have a beauty or barber shop along with a small convenience store. The sleeping areas of both the full and limited service hotels are the same.
