1610 - Motel, Double Row

There are several occupancies offered for both Motel and Hotel. Although there are always exceptions, Commercial Express distinguishes between the two in that generally hotels are found in a city and are more than 5 stories in height and motels are found along the highway or small towns and are less than 5 stories in height. The double row motel occupancy is a long narrow building with two rows of guest rooms that are found back to back and share a common wall. Entrance to the rooms is directly from the outside. If the entrance to the rooms is through a covered central hallway, consider using Occupancy 1600 - Motel. If only one row of guest rooms exists, consider using Occupancy 1620 – Motel, Single Row.
